About us
Lacy Surveying Limited is a building surveying practice based on the Herts/Beds border which was established in 2021.
We are experts in investigating and repairing subsidence and other property damage and also offer a range of traditional building surveying services. We work with Property Owners, Loss Adjusters, Insurers, Brokers and other stakeholders, and deal with domestic and commercial buildings.
We aim to provide straight forward, fair, impartial, professional advice and guide all parties through stressful situations as smoothly as possible.

The owner, Mark Lacy, graduated as a building surveyor nearly 30 years ago and has a breadth of surveying experience, a large part of which has been in the insurance industry. Mark has been Head of Subsidence for a loss adjusting firm specialising in the High Net Worth market and spent two years as part of the senior leadership team in the subsidence division of a large international loss adjuster.

Insurance Technician with the British Damage Management Association.
Subsidence Damage Experts
We work with property owners, management companies, insurers, loss adjusters, brokers and other stakeholders investigating and managing insurance claims for subsidence damage.​

Our services include diagnosis, site investigations, mitigation management, crack width and precise level monitoring, designing and administering repair schemes, and dispute resolution.
Insurance surveying
We provide assistance to property owners and all stakeholders dealing with insurance claims for fire, flood, escape of water, impact, storm, amongst others.

Our services include defect diagnosis, quote validation, managing emergency works, preparing repair specifications and contract administration. We are able to support clients directly and work with partners during surges following extreme weather events.
